Cerca de 20 estudantes da Escola Municipal Rinaldo Silva de Oliveira, de Tamandaré, Litoral Sul do estado, participaram de uma aula especial do Prolinfinho, no último dia 14 de junho. As crianças, entre 10 e 13 anos, do Ensino Fundamental I vieram ao Recife especialmente para ter a experiência de assistir a uma aula montada por um curso de Inglês.

Os alunos foram recepcionados pelo coordenador-geral do Programa de Línguas e Informática de UPE (Prolinfo), Carlos Silva e a aula foi ministrada pela professora Jeniffer Santos, que já teve exepriência com turmas do Prolinfinho. A atividade durou cerca de três horas. Das 9h30 até as 12h, com pausa para o lanche.
“Curiosas e participativas”, como definiu a professora Jeniffer Santos, as crianças tentaram absorver o máximo de informações possíveis e “aproveitaram bastante a oportunidade”.

A visita fez parte das atividades de uma matéria eletiva da Escola Municipal Reinaldo Silva de Oliveira, chamada “The book is on the table”. O projeto interdisciplinar ministrado pela professora Fernanda Carneiro do Nascimento, contempla as crianças com aulas de Inglês, Português, Artes, História e Geografia além da grade curricular já aplicada na instituição de ensino.
