O Prof. Carlos Silva, Coordenador-Geral do PROLINFO participou, nesta quarta-feira, 11/07/18, do início da formação dos professores que atuarão no PROJOVEM URBANO RECIFE 2018.
O PROJOVEM URBANO RECIFE é fruto de convênio firmado entre a Prefeitura da Cidade do Recife e a Universidade de Pernambuco – UPE com a interveniência do IAUPE – Instituto de Apoio à Universidade de Pernambuco e capacitará 3.200 jovens na faixa etária entre 18 e 29 anos, objetivando inseri-los no mercado de trabalho. O PROJOVEM é um programa federal operacionalizado pelo MEC com contrapartida da Prefeitura do Recife. Portanto, trata-se de um programa de largo alcance social e o PROJOVEM RECIFE se caracteriza como o maior do país em operação no momento.
A formação do PROJOVEM dura um ano e meio, com aulas de segunda a sexta, das 18h às 22h. Além de cursar as disciplinas do Ensino Fundamental, o Programa oferece qualificação profissional nas áreas de administração, alimentação e turismo e hospitalidade. O aluno que escolher cursar a área de turismo e hospitalidade terá cursos de organização de eventos, ajudante de garçom (cumim), recepcionista de hotel e monitor de turismo local. Quem optar pelo curso de administração vai receber a qualificação de arquivador, almoxarife, office boy e auxiliar administrativo. Quem escolher a área de alimentação vai estar apto a trabalhar como chapista, cozinheiro auxiliar, repositor de mercadoria e vendedor ambulante.
